Vår berättelse
Forests are the lungs of our planet and key habitats for biodiversity. At the same time, wood raw material is indispensable in the modern world, both as part of existing industrial value chains and in new fossil-free materials and fuels. Therefore, sustainable forestry is the answer for the future.
With the insight that a digitized forest with detailed data and advanced decision support is an urgent need for our common future, Arboair was founded. By using high-resolution images from satellites, drones, or other aerial vehicles, our cloud-based Forest Mapper utilizes advanced AI-driven image analysis to provide accurate decision support for the benefit of both the world and the forest industry.
At Arboair, we work for the sake of forests and their habitats, for the people working in the forests, and for forest owners. We believe in the power of high-precision forest data and are at the global technological forefront in providing it to our users.

The Team
We are a multidisciplinary team with exceptional expertise in forestry, technology, and sales. Our founders, Markus and Jacob, are experienced and award-winning entrepreneurs who have merged their previous companies to jointly transform the forest industry. They met at an event hosted by the Prince of Sweden at Linköping University during their master’s engineering studies. The Prince invited them to discuss their ideas about digitizing the forest industry and encouraged them to proceed with the project—this marked the start of their joint business journey.
Our board consists of individuals with extensive experience in the forest industry, including global consultants, former CEOs of major forestry companies, and experts in forestry-related EU policy.
Our diverse team includes an AI developer and geologist, a remote sensing expert, game developers, and an amazing IT architect. Together, we combine our expertise to deliver innovative solutions to the forestry sector.
